Christmas Carols 2002
In 2002, Channel 7 Brisbane contracted me to assist them on an upcoming special effects laden project that was to be the 2002 Lord Mayors Christmas Carols. In this TV special, a running storyline through the show was Santa Claus's mission to find the boy who was losing he spirit of Christmas. Using a transforming Channel 7 helicopter, (the Santa Super-Sleigh) and aided by his elves, Santa traveled from his high tech North Pole command center to a number of fantasy locations including a Mayan temple and the Moon, in his search for the boy, only to find him in Brisbane.

This ambitious project called for almost 20 minutes of special effects including multiple blue-screen compositions, CGI sets, vehicles, effects and equipment, extensive motion tracking and many other non-computer based effects.
