Stephen MonteithHi, I’m Stephen Monteith. I am a 3d artist based in Brisbane Australia. I have worked professionally in video game development for more than 8 years, but have also been involved in TV and film productions, and numerous other computer graphics projects for virtually my entire life.
My primary experience is in real-time 3d assets using the following programs:

My working style is clean, precise and measured, I like to get things done right the first time, rather than do a poor job and fix it later. I like to invest time in systems and procedures that will speed up production in the long run. You will not find files called “working06 new new.max” checked into your CMS by me.

In addition to real-time environments, I have also worked on pre-rendered animations and stills, teaching 3d at university, graphic design, web design and scooping ice cream.

Personal Life

At home I love spending heaps of time with my wife and two kids going travelling, camping and bushwalking. I love cooking and eating, particularly Asian food, playing computer and board games, and making/fixing things with my hands.
